For the purpose of this assignment I am choosing to focus on the summer youth programming. This summer camp hopes to provide continual knowledge of acceptable social behaviour, peer socializing and new experiences with children division the same diagnosis in a positive teaching environment. The aspect that interests me the most is that the camp is designed to provide qualify progr! amming for the children while they are at camp, specific and conform towards their diagnosis. The outcome is that the children will learn appropriate ways of traffic with situations rather than being removed from camp. Diagnosis- specific programming is frequently overlooked in regular camp experiences because it is geared to the fairish child.
